The Last Stanza

This is an event to celebrate the site of original Hampden in it's current guise as Hampden Bowling Club, before its doors are closed on 28th Feb 2026. The event will celebrate the footballing history and cultural significance of this site through stories, speeches, poetry, music and a good old knees up to drink the bar dry. It will also look forward to highlight the current community campaign to save this site and preserve it's history for future generations.
