About this Event

The Landscape of Agricultural Innovation

On Wednesday, February 11th, we invite you to join Environmental Defense Fund on Capitol Hill for a briefing marking the release of its new report, Landscape of Agricultural Innovation.

Technological advancements are increasingly shaping how farmers remain productive in the face of more variable conditions while managing costs and resources. The report analyzes nearly 400 agricultural innovations to assess their climate impacts and benefits, market readiness, and environmental co-benefits, offering a broad view of where innovation is gaining traction across the farm sector.

This briefing will examine key technology areas identified in the report, including nutrient and fertilizer solutions, precision sensing and analytics, agronomic data and measurement platforms, biotechnology, and automation. The discussion will also address how research, investment, and policy actions can help create an enabling environment for these technologies to mature and scale.

Lunch will be provided.
