Great for those new to QiGong and experienced practitioners, join us on the lawn at noon to harmonize mind, body, and spirit under the sun.

Biography

Being born and raised in Boulder, CO, provided fertile ground for Chicava’s curiosity and passion for world religions, spirituality, metaphysics, and all things woo-woo. I’m a Universal Healing Tao Instructor under GrandMaster Mantak Chia, and a Tai Chi, QiGong, and Martial Arts practitioner. My arts and spiritual studies converge through my school, Sacred Chrysalis, the space where the sacred sexuality of Taoist Womanly Arts, burlesque, and sistering community meet. She received my MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College in sacred sexuality, spirituality performance art, and women of color in burlesque heritage. She has the joy of being in and performing for powerful women's communities.
