About this Event
As the October ceasefire hangs by a thread, The Conversation offers a rare civic space to grapple with the core questions at the heart of this global crisis. The play gives voice to conflicting narratives surrounding:
- October 7th
- War crimes and genocide
- The right to self-defense
- Two-State vs. One-State solutions
- Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and American complicity
- The legacy of ‘48, ’67, ’73, and beyond
It poses a stark and timely question: Do we want to be “right” in never-ending arguments — or effective in saving lives and finding urgently needed solutions?
Telling the stories of the humans behind the headlines, this acclaimed interactive theater experience premiered to sold-out houses in Colorado, is in development for an Off Broadway New York run, and will be at West of Lenin (203 N 36th Street in Seattle) December 4-7 for a limited West Coast preview.
