About this Event
An evening of tomfoolery beholds anyone who attends this staged production of The Importance Of Being Earnest, the beloved comedy written by Oscar Wilde.
Set within Edinburgh's Georgian house, a beautiful historic, listed building we will take you through a tale of artistocracy, secrets, proposals and family charades.
Jack is Earnest in the town but Jack in the country, leading a double life, a true Bunbury, however his facade is about to fall apart. His double life has been discovered and his plans to marry sweetheart Gwendolen all rest upon two things: his name, and finding some parents.
This is a two hour performance including one interval (with the script adjusted to fit the new timings). Refreshments will not be provided due to the venue and entrance fee grants you access to the performance space only.
