The Scottish Community and Events SIG have lined up an engaging and informative session on the hidden costs of events fundraising.
About this Event

Join the Scottish SIGs for their last in-person event this year. Look forward to insights from Heather McCann (Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland), Hazel McIlwraith (Scottish Action for Mental Health) and Jono Buckland (Zone Events). The session is followed by a social, offering a chance for collaboration and some festive fun!

The Session

Are you working in events or bringing in event income for your charity? Are you constantly having to justify event costs and return on investment? Maybe you'd love to have events, or more of them, but just don't have the budget or capacity to be the event organiser. Join us to find out how charities like yours can offer an events programme to your supporters. Hear from charities who have streamlined their events, companies who run third party events, and charities who collaborate to offer spaces at events.

The Social

If you'd like to stay on after the session, join us and the other CIoF Scottish Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as we co-host our annual festive social event. An opportunity to celebrate the year's successes, learn from challenges and rewards yourself for all of your fundraising efforts throughout 2025. Social activities and a hot buffet are provided for attendees. Please note that the bar is open for drinks and additional purchases by attendees.

Festive wear and sparkles are optional, but very welcome!
