THE HEART OF ATTUNEMENT -March - April 2026
The Heart of Attunement training for PRACTITIONERS is open for registration.
This training is for practitioners who wish to further cultivate their capacities to attune to SELF and skilfully utilise this in their work with OTHERS. It is suitable for people working therapeutically with both individuals or groups and can be powerfully applied within any modality.
Embodied attunement is a natural state where awareness through perceptory senses weaves together with felt experience. When listened to with sensitivity and aptitude this becomes a profound and vital resource of information and tangible embodied connection for the therapist and client.

PRACTICALITIES:
The training is a blend of multiple streams of learning.
- 1:1 training/mentorship sessions
These 4 sessions tailor personalised learning, development and professional mentorship. This container serves to illuminate areas of your personal and professional growth and support you to explore, meet, and integrate these inner thresholds. These sessions are available in-person and online over the 8 weeks.
- 2 Group Training Days (TBA - Northern Rivers)
In addition, 2 in-person group days will be held in the Northern Rivers area. Based in somatic enquiry and experiential processes these days further develop and integrate your attunement to Self, Other and the Greater Field. Students will explore the rich terrains of their inner world which encompass the physical, psychological, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.
- Reading materials and resources
Learning resources will be provided, covering aspects of body based psychotherapeutic work such as the nervous system, survival states, regulation, parts, resourcing, shadow and exiled material, protective strategies and awareness of trauma.
- 2 In-person Therapeutic Sessions
Naturally receiving and experiencing this style of work is essential to learning it. As part of the 8 week training participants will have 2 therapeutic sessions with Samantha, either on-line or in-person. These sessions are not included in the training cost. In-person sessions are available in Mullumbimby and Bellingen.
- Please note in order for you to be familiar with this style of work and feel the suitability of working together 1 personal session is required before the training begins. If you have worked with me in the past two years you do not need this session for enrolment.

- Recognising dissociation and assisting clients to remain present to, and safely within their own systems and bodies
What is EMBODIED ATTUNEMENT & why is it important for therapists?
Embodied attunement refers to a quality of presence and empathic connectivity within the therapist themselves and between therapist and client. From this place of interoceptive and relational awareness the therapist gains access to their own *implicit relational knowing*. This knowing is informed by the entire spectrum of multisensory communication pathways, and ultimately from a greater field of reciprocal awareness.
Embodied attunement is the key to working in spaces of profound human connection and transformation that transcends adherence to any one modality, be it dialogue, or touch based.
In a truly alive and collaborative way we are honing our capacity to connect to one another on the deepest level possible - our shared humanity.
