This event requires a £5 deposit to confirm your place. The ticket shows as “Free” here on Eventbrite because deposits are taken separately (this helps us avoid extra fees and keeps costs lower for you).
Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with simple payment details. The remaining balance can be paid at The Calm Rooms on the day.

You don’t need to be an artist, writer, or even remotely crafty - just curious. This isn’t about producing a perfect page; it’s about giving your mind a place to land.
You’ll spend a peaceful time exploring how a handmade journal can become your own quiet companion.
Penny will guide you through creative journalling techniques which can promote your well-being and support your healing journey.
All whilst sticking, layering, and designing pages that invite reflection as Jane weaves in grounding exercises and prompts to help you tune in to what your inner voice actually wants to say.
You’ll leave with your own tactile journal-in-progress, a few mindful habits to take home, and the kind of peace that only comes from creating with paper while someone else makes the tea.
Booking and payment details
The total cost of the workshop, including materials and refreshments, is £25. For returning attendees who wish to deepen their practice, the cost is £15.
