Welcome to The Groove Lab!
The Groove Lab is a live music + movement experience built around groove, community, and play. Featuring the live band Soul Department, the music draws from house, funk, and breaks, creating a space where people can move freely in response to live sound.
This isn’t a class or a performance.
You don’t need dance experience.
You can dance, sway, step, observe, or just feel the music.
What This Space Is About
- ? Live music as a shared experience (not a performance to watch)
- ? Movement as expression, not perfection
- ? Community over spectacle
- ? A “lab” to experiment, play, and connect through groove
For dancers, it’s a fun challenge: moving to live music in real time. For everyone else, it’s a chance to experience live groove-based music in a more embodied, communal way — like a jazz club, but participatory.
