The Green Fuse

The title for our spring concert comes from a quote by Dylan Thomas: “The force that through the green fuse drives the flower.”

This program explores the pulse of renewal through music that is joyful, reflective, folk-rooted and full of spring’s returning light.

We’re especially excited to welcome our featured guest artist, Michelle Carlisle, an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist whose expressive flute and traditional whistles bring a brilliant Celtic colour to the program. Joining her are Laurence Mollerup (bass),Gary Mussatto (drums) and we’re delighted to introduce Boyana Makedonska at the piano.
