Now in its 23rd year the Summer Shade Festival returns to Grant Park on Saturday August 23 and Sunday August 24 2025 for a weekend that blends music art food and community in one of Atlanta’s most historic parks. A signature fundraiser for the Grant Park Conservancy the free two-day event features live performances on two stages a curated artist market alongside a vintage showcase by GVG Events and a strong lineup of family-friendly programming—including Deep South Wrestling a Kids’ Bouncy House Village and a Sunday morning Move & Groove activation. With 140+ regional vendors local bites and sips and much more Summer Shade offers a mix of creativity and connection. The festivities begin Saturday at 8 a.m. with the Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K a neighborhood race through Grant Park’s scenic streets supporting the Conservancy’s ongoing preservation efforts.
