To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the building first opening and to fundraise towards the refurbishment of our beloved theatre.The building opened as a lodge or hall of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in May 1876, right in midst of the Music Hall era!
The hall was opened with a concert - “the grandest amateur concert of the season”.
We’ve included some nods to that in the concert programme and hope that we live up to the same billing!
