Since 2007, he has held the position of Head of School of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and, as part of his students' development, organises regular showcase recitals for them here at Forsyth.
The image above shows Graham with the pianists who performed Beethoven's final five piano sonatas here on 17 May 2025.
About this performance...
This latest concert is a fantastic opportunity to hear six emerging artists present a globe-trotting programme, taking in Chopin and Liszt, the important Slovak composer Eugen Suchoň, "the father of modern music in Hong Kong" Doming Lam, and a new Nocturne for Chopin by British jazz pianist and composer Zoe Rahman.
Full programme below. More details to follow!
Having hosted scores (pun intended...) of free performances over the past few years, we are now introducing a small charge of £4 per ticket as a contribution towards the costs of running our recital series.
