About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to the exhibition opening of Composing Landscapes at 37 Merrion Square, on Wednesday, 8 May 2024, 6 pm.
Presented by the Crespo Foundation and the Goethe-Institut Irland this exhibition, curated by Ben Livne Weitzman, features sound art, video works and paintings by four international artists: Christiana Chiranagnostaki (GR), Konstanza Kapsali (GR), Tania Rubio (MX) and Markus Huemer (AT/DE).
Their pieces were created during the ArtNature/NatureArt residencies in Glenkeen Garden, West Cork, with sights and sounds of West Cork’s Roaringwater Bay and its surroundings serving as the inspiration in this new multimedia art exhibition.
The participating artists from Greece, Austria and Mexico will be present at the exhibition opening to share further insights into their work and creative processes.
We look forward to welcoming you this May for a drink reception and an evening of art, nature, and international perspectives.
Composing Landscapes is the second exhibition of The Glenkeen Variations
