This event is a solidarity gesture, uniting the communities in Ireland around the importance of European values and European way of life. Amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, this hike is a fundraising endeavor to procure power generators & power banks for Kharkiv region.
The European Union's legacy as a beacon of peace is celebrated on Europe Day, marking over seven decades of peace, stability, and prosperity among its member states. This year, we stand in unity with the Ukrainian people, who have embraced European ideals and are courageously defending them.
We invite you to join the hike under the flags of the EU, Ukraine, and all European nations on the 8th of May for a meaningful trek along the Howth Cliffs. Your support will directly contribute to providing medical aid and life-saving assistance to the Ukrainian people in need.
