The Gentlethem’s Club: A Psychedelic Housewife Cabaret
Welcome to The Gentlethem’s Club, a recurring cabaret production at Roots Music Project where classic cabaret meets queer flair and of course, a little sleaze. This unique evening celebrates the art of burlesque, community, and sensual performance in an inclusive and vibrant space. Come step into an assimilation of all your domestic desires—distorted, decadent, unraveling, and not entirely sensical, but certain to make you feel something.
The Experience
7:00 PM – Doors Open
Doors open to an intimate cocktail hour where guests can mingle, enjoy drinks, and settle in as Kalyn the Miller and friends serenade you down a nonsensical rabbit hole before the main acts of glamorous absurdity.
8:00 PM – Cabaret Revue
Emcee Valentina Bandersnatch guides the evening through a cabaret showcase featuring 9 live performances—all inspired by classic cabaret with a psychedelic housewife twist: polished pearls, unraveling seams, and a touch of chaos. Expect dance, strip-tease, song, circus, and more.
Stay after the show to dance, connect, and celebrate together—because every good little housewife deserves a night out… or a full spiral.
The Gentlethem’s Club is an inclusive celebration of burlesque, artistry, and community—an evening of memorable entertainment for all.
Dress Code: Retro, Funky, Domestic, Vintage (I don’t know just make it weird).
No housewife credentials required—just a taste for the strange, the sultry, and the slightly unhinged.
