Returning to Randolph on a 20th anniversary tour, The Garifuna Collective is a seasoned group of musicians from multiple generations whose dynamic comes from years of playing and traveling the world together, sharing their music and stories with global audiences. Their performances bring the history and soul of Garifuna culture vividly to life. They have performed in over 30 countries across five continents and have been part of some of the most celebrated Garifuna albums of all time, including the critically acclaimed Wátina, recipient of the WOMEX and BBC World Music Awards and named Amazon’s Number One World Music Album of All Time. Drawing from a vast tradition of Garifuna songs, the Collective creates new compositions while honoring ancestral roots, carrying forward a powerful cultural identity shaped by resilience, tradition, and connection between generations.
