The Floating Folk Jam Yorktown, has come to rest at the Yorktown Library, 6-8 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every other month. Hosted by local band ShantyGrass, the "Folk Jam” is a fun, free event where attendees go around the circle picking songs to sing and play together. Lead a song, request a song or pick from the big song book. If you have an unplugged instrument, please bring it with you. Singing/instrument playing is not required: listeners are also welcome. For adults and teens accompanied by adults.
