The Fire Within: Beltane Sound Journey with Live Harp and Storytelling

Join us for a unique celebration of the start of Summer with a mythical array of instruments and storytelling facilitated by Georgie Buchanan and Jenna Anne Nathan

In the Celtic calendar Beltane falls on the 1st of May and marks the beginning of Summer, when the world is at its most fertile and creative. In ancient times we would light fires and dance to celebrate this inspiring moment. In this evening workshop Georgie and Jenna invite you to light the fire within, your own spark of creativity that fuels your joy.

You will be invited to find a comfortable position on your yoga mat and then Georgie and Jenna will guide you through the beautiful Beltane story of The May Queen and The Green Man, sinking into a nourishing sound journey with live harp, song, alchemy singing bowls, shamanic drum and gongs.

Yoga mats, blankets and props will be provided to ensure that you can be as comfortable as possible for the session

About Georgie Buchanan

Inspired by tales of Celtic Goddesses, ancient mythology and voyages to the Outer Hebrides and beyond, Georgie is a unique singer and harpist on the contemporary folk scene.

Georgie is passionate about the power of music to transform and transcend and she has been playing for yoga and sound bath sessions for the past 10 years.

Interweaving traditional melodies with originial compositions, songs and stories, Georgie's music speaks of a heartfelt connection with the natural world and the inner wisdom of the body

About Jenna Anne Nathan

Jenna Anne is a passionate yoga teacher, whose practice and teaching is enriched by her career as a contemporary dance artist. 

Her fascination with somatics (the mind-body connection) and dedication to movement practices has affirmed her belief that the body is a powerful gateway to healing, health, and happiness.

In addition to Yoga, she facilitates Reiki, Sound Healing, and Earth Medicine Ceremonies, all with the intention of guiding others to cultivate a deeper connection to themselves, each other, and the natural world.
