We’d love to come together for a final send off for Dawn.The opening night of the exhibition had such a beautiful atmosphere, and it feels right to gather once more to celebrate her artwork, her spirit, and the joy she brought into so many lives.
Dawn loved dancing, especially salsa. She danced in the classes she taught and truly believed in celebrating art through movement, music, and connection. This evening is about doing exactly that. Sharing a dance, raising a glass, and spending time together in the space surrounded by her work.
We chose not to hold this on the final day of the exhibition to avoid clashing with Australia Day, and instead create a relaxed evening where people can really be present.
If you knew Dawn, or were touched by her art, please come along. We’ll have music playing, some food, and drinks left over from the opening night. Most of all, it’s a chance to celebrate her memory in the way she would have loved.
