BELLA RAE
Bella-Rae is a gifted young Torres Strait Islander known for her impressive skills as a musician and songwriter. From a young age, she has shown exceptional talent in music, mastering multiple instruments and refining her performance skills. Her passion for music shines through in every note she plays and every song she sings. Bella-Rae’s versatility allows her to experiment with different musical styles, creating a sound that is uniquely her own. Her lyrical prowess is complemented by her ability to convey deep emotions through her music. Her song Pipe Cleaner Flowers is a testament to her talent and has been released on all music platforms. Her most recent release, This City, which features an amazing music video, continues to showcase her creativity and heartfelt expression. She has been performing all over Perth, most recently at Perth Festival and Illuminate at Yagan Square, building a strong reputation for her captivating live performances. Bella-Rae is also a proud member of Rhythm Tide, Boss Arts Creative’s incredibly talented collective of artists. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to connect with her audience make her a promising artist to watch. As she continues to release new music and perform, she is sure to captivate and inspire audiences everywhere.
RHYTHM TIDE
Rhythm Tide is a vibrant group celebrating the exceptional talents of First Nations artists. Each member brings unique vocal styles that are soulful, soothing, and powerful, paired with skilled musicianship on instruments like the guitar, didgeridoo, and DJ equipment. As part of Boss Arts Creative, they offer a platform for emerging artists to share original music or creatively adapted covers. Drawing from a growing network of gifted performers, Rhythm Tide’s adaptable lineup allows the group to
assemble the ideal blend of artists for each performance.
ICONYX
Iconyx is an inspiring and talented young artist from the East Kimberley, proudly representing her Kukatja and Pintupi heritage. A natural-born musician, she possesses perfect pitch and is skilled in both piano and guitar, showcasing her talent as a singer/songwriter.
Under the guidance of Boss Arts Creative, Iconyx has made a significant mark with the release of her debut album Blak On Trak through Skinny Fish Music, the label that also represented her idol, Gurrumul. Her music has captivated audiences across Perth and beyond, with performances at festivals, NAIDOC events, CinefestOz, the Telethon Ball, and recently the Gurindji Freedom Day Festival. Her dynamic live shows feature a full band including a DJ, drummer, and bass player, creating an electrifying experience for fans. She has had the rare privilege of performing music by Archie Roach and Gurrumul with the blessing of their families, reflecting her strong cultural and musical heritage.
At just 18 years old, Iconyx is a vibrant and multifaceted artist. Beyond music, she is a bookworm who reads in Braille, an active sports enthusiast, and a natural entertainer with a playful personality. With her passion, talent, and determination, Iconyx continues to share her music with the world, leaving a lasting impression wherever she performs.
