About this Event
10:00am-2:00pm | Thursday, April 23rd | Atlanta Judo Midtown | 2213 Faulker Rd
Curious about safer-falling? Join Atlanta Judo Midtown for an open house introducing The Falling Class, a skill-based training program that teaches active adults over 55 how to fall safely.
Using progressive, science-based techniques adapted from judo and stunt training, the program demystifies the mechanics of falling through low-impact, game-based activities.
Stop by to learn about the program, meet the instructors, and watch a brief live demonstration or join a mini-workshop (under 15 minutes).
We’re excited to welcome curious community members, visiting attendees of the American Society on Aging conference, and potential partners. Lite refreshments will be provided. Bring a friend or colleague and come learn about safer-falling!
