The Final Dance of the Year: A Winter Solstice Celebration
As the longest night of the year graces us, we gather for the last dance of 2024, an evening infused with the potent energy of the Winter Solstice.
This is a sacred opportunity to set powerful intentions as we bring into our awareness the beliefs, patterns, and parts of ourselves that keep us tethered to realities we are ready to transcend. Within the safety and support of our community, we will courageously allow these old narratives to surface, honoring their purpose before releasing them into the sacred fire of transformation. Together, we will create space for deep self-realization, healing, and embodied liberation.
This night also marks the end of an era—not only for me and for you, but for our collective journey as a community.
I am overjoyed to have Hunter the Gatherer co-facilitating this powerful evening with me. It will be a bittersweet celebration, as we honor Hunter’s transition to the next chapter of his journey as he prepares to move west. This will be his final time in this space for the foreseeable future, and I can’t think of a more aligned partner to guide us through this time of transition and transformation.
If you're not familiar with Hunter, Hunter is not just a DJ; he's a curator of unforgettable experiences. With an innate passion for dancing and a deep love for diverse genres and sounds, Hunter seamlessly blends beats and rhythms to create a journey that resonates with every heartbeat on the dance floor. Hunter possesses a unique ability to read the energy of the crowd, transforming it into a musical narrative where depth, playfulness, and raw expression come alive. His sets are more than just music; they are a carefully orchestrated symphony of sound and emotion, designed to elevate the spirit and ignite the soul. Bringing together the powerful essence of both the masculine and feminine, Hunter creates a magical, harmonious atmosphere where everyone feels connected.
Let’s come together under the Solstice sky to honor the past, release what no longer serves and embody the light of what’s to come.
Doors open at 6:30 so we can begin preparing and adorning our bodies with glow paint to tap into our own inner luminescence. This is an opportunity for each person to add another layer of self expression to this container. Dress to express, we welcome the wild, the free, the unadulterated version of you. We will be providing body paint and feel free to bring anything else you'd like to use to adorn your body.
We will be offering 1oz. ceremonial cacao for purchase through Jolt Cacao from
Guatemala.
Please bring an altar item or multiple for the collective intention setting. This can be a gift, a sentimental item or object that has significance for you. Each participant will take their item(s) home at the end of the night. We will be introducing three separate altar spaces this month for a more immersive and enriching experience. One dedicated to the Feminine, honoring the essence of the Goddess, representing cycles, intuition, nurturing, beauty, creation, emotions and the flow of life. One dedicated to the Masculine, dedicated to the Warrior and protector archetype, symbolizing action, structure, strength, logic and presence. One altar dedicated to Unity, Union, Oneness and Peace, focusing on the unity of all beings, acknowledging the beauty in diversity of culture, belief systems and backgrounds. It will also honor our ancestors, lineages, recognizing the wisdom and strength passed down through generations. Feel free to bring an item for one or all three.
This is a sober event and we asked that everyone abstain from substance use prior to and during the experience.
Please bring your own water to drink.
6:30-7:15 Adorn the body, mingle and sip cacao (Optional)
6:45-7:10 MOVEMENT PRACTICE with Kat Harmon (Optional) for participants to drop into the body and begin to connect with the space and collective group.
PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 7PM, DOORS CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 7:15 FOR OPENING CIRCLE & MEDITATION.
This event will be held on Saturday 12/21/24 at Aerial Charlotte from 6:30-10pm.

This event is sliding scale $25 -$55 and we will cap this event at 100 people.
