Are you there, tree people? Join us for what is sure to be a hot August night at the Greek Theatre... no, I mean the Princeton Pub, on Sat, Aug 16. Headlining are THE EARLY BEATS (debut show!) featuring local power pop legends doing their take on yes, the early Beatles! It will indeed be the toppermost of the poppermost! In the middle slot is CHINA SYNDROME as they continue rockin' in their 20th year as a band! They will play a few new tunes in addition to their usual mix of album cuts, coulda been singles, and new wave covers.
Opening things up is SWAGGER LEE featuring:
Bob Petterson: Bass player in 12% of all bands.
Eric Lowe: "I play the drums, it's super fun. I like them."
David Badanic: "I play the guitar. It's super fun. I enjoy it alot."
Kenn Schroeder: Guitar Slinger?
Cruella Deville: Vocals - a relative unknown
We don't quite know who or what Swagger Lee is, yet, but we're having a good time figuring it out. Currently doing deep covers, but original material is not that far away. Get in on our action now and you could be saying "I knew them when!"
Fun fact: members of each of these bands have played together in other alignments at some point in the past and also the present!
