About this Event

A Wine Tasting Where Strangers Become Friends

This one's a little different and we think you're going to love it!

Join us for our first event at District Winery, DC's first working winery on the Navy Yard waterfront. Instead of our traditional seated dinner format, this is a 4-flight wine tasting experience with light bites.

Think craft wines made on-site, a charcuterie spread, and a summer evening on the water with a room full of interesting people you haven't met yet.

"Loved the location; good group of people. The conversations were interesting. The food and service was impeccable." — DC Guest

About the Venue

District Winery is DC's first operational commercial winery — a boutique winery set in the heart of The Yards along the Anacostia River in Navy Yard. Winemaker Phil Arras produces premium small-batch wines on-site, combining traditional technique with creative experimentation. The co-founders, Brian Leventhal and John Stires, previously opened Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg before bringing the concept to DC.

This is our first event at District Winery, and our first wine tasting format in DC. We couldn't think of a better setting to try something new.
