An Intro to 'The Days That Matter'
In summer 2023, a group of enthusiastic Thespians gathered to make a short film called 'The Days That Matter', which spanned three countries and involved friends from various walks of life that were as passionate about art on stage as on film.
An original production written by our team, the story features three different characters, encapsulating their struggles at various points in life, fighting to overcome adversities that lay in the present and reeling from the clutches of a past that refuses to let them go. The anthology is comprised of three stories about finding your sense of belonging, and finding a way to connect with family - both those left behind and those that await us in the future.
The film was shot in Hong Kong, London and Lisbon. It features dialogues in English, Portuguese and Cantonese. English subtitles will be available!

As is the case with many small art projects, this project was entirely funded by ourselves, with the sole purpose of creating something together. For many of us, this was a novel experience and we are very proud of everyone involved for their work and effort!
Now that we have something to share, we are planning private screenings in Hong Kong, London and Lisbon. While the base ticket to the screening is free of charge, you may optionally choose to use the "Donate Here!" option to support us financially and help us cover some of the screening costs. No matter how you choose to support us, we would greatly appreciate your presence at the screening!
