About this Event
This is an in-person dating workshop and social evening for women who want to move from dating apps to real-life dates - and feel more confident, grounded and self-led when they do.
We’ll look at what’s happening both on the apps and in person - from how conversations unfold online, to how those connections translate once you meet face-to-face. In particular, we’ll explore what your body language, energy and presence are communicating on a date, often before a word is spoken.
I’ve worked on First Dates for over 12 years, sitting just feet away from more than 4,000 real first dates. That front-row seat has given me a deep understanding of how attraction, confidence and boundaries are felt in real life.
Often, your body is speaking before you’ve even sat down at the table.
Your energy, your presence, the way you enter a space - all of it communicates something long before conversation really begins.
This evening is an opportunity to explore what’s actually being communicated - both on the apps and when you meet face-to-face - in a way that feels natural, supportive and grounded.
Held on Valentine’s Day, this is also about coming together.
This is the least “single” you’re ever going to feel on Valentine’s, because you’re surrounded by other women who get it.
It’s a chance to connect, learn something genuinely useful, and celebrate Valentine’s Day with the girls - while feeling supported and less alone in the process.
This is a warm, welcoming space designed for connection, and the group is intentionally kept small so it feels intimate rather than overwhelming.
More than an event, this is about finding a sense of community - a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and glad you showed up.
Who This Is For
This workshop is for women who:
- Feel stuck on the apps and struggle to turn conversations into real dates
- Go on dates but notice they overthink, overperform, or lose themselves in the moment
- Want to date from self-worth, not urgency, fear, or people-pleasing
- Are aware of their patterns but want help changing them in real life
- Want clearer boundaries without becoming guarded or closed off
- Would love to spend Valentine’s Day in a room that feels supportive, normalising and uplifting
You don’t need to be actively dating to attend - just open to reflecting on how you show up and ready to do things differently going forward.
What You’ll Learn
In this workshop, we’ll explore:
- What your dating profile and early conversations are really saying
- How to move from app conversations to actual dates, without it feeling forced or awkward
- What your body language, energy and presence communicate when you meet someone in person
- How confidence can look and feel on a date, and what can accidentally come across as trying too hard
- What boundaries actually look like when you’re on a date, and how easy it is to forget them in the moment
- How to stop slipping into “pick me” energy and start choosing from self-respect
What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of the evening, you’re likely to feel:
- Clearer about how you come across - both online and in person
- More confident and grounded on dates, without trying to be someone else
- Better at recognising when you’re dating from self-worth vs old habits
- Stronger holding your boundaries calmly and naturally
- Less confused about mixed signals
- Reassured that you’re not alone in this
You’ll leave feeling more connected to yourself, and to a wider community of women navigating dating in the same way.
