America is predominantly a coffee culture. But, have you ever heard and wondered about the Boston Tea Party or the Tea Party movement? Both have their origins in America, yet refer to a beverage that we barely seem to understand or consume. Tea was pivotal in our country and the first in a series of steps that led to the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution.
During our session, we will have a discourse on the history and origins of tea, the impact of terroir on flavor, architecture of spaces for tea and the incredible health benefits. And most importantly, we will glimpse the people who bring tea to the world.
