The Cucumbers (Jon Fried & Deena Shoshkes) started out in the 80's indie pop scene in Hoboken. They are looking forward to coming "home" to celebrate the publication/release of “Hello George,” a novella by Jon Fried and its accompanying soundtrack "As You Heard Me."
Bob Perry started making music in the mid-80s with Ward 8, which later became Winter Hours. They found success on college radio and built a following, touring nationally with bands like The Bongos, Marshall Crenshaw, Let's Active, and Hoodoo Gurus. After releasing several EPs and an LP on Link Records, they signed with Chrysalis Records for a self-titled debut produced by Lenny Kaye.
Bob will play songs from his solo albums and Winter Hours, backed by Sean Seymour on guitar, Paul Moschella on snare, Scott Anthony on bass, and Stephanie Seymour on vocals and percussion.
