CREATORS: An Artistic & Creative Excellence Awards Gala. The Creator’s Gala is an endeavour aimed at acknowledging the creative individuals who are contributing in making the world a better and more aesthetically pleasing place, fostering harmony through the realms of arts, culture, and heritage.
The Indo-Canada Arts Council (ICAC) has been a federally registered non-profit organization in Canada since 2014, celebrating 10 years. Run by volunteer board of directors, ICAC is dedicated to promoting and fostering arts and culture exchanges between Canada and India. Its vision is centered on raising awareness, facilitating creation, and recognizing individuals and entities that champion arts and culture. ICAC's initiatives encompass organizing festivals, exhibitions, publications, seminars, and performances of various genres annually, fostering cross-cultural interactions across Canada, India, UAE and North America.
Following the resounding success of the 2023 gala, ICAC is once again preparing to host the Creators Gala on October 11, 2024 at the esteemed Roy Thomson Hall. This event will shine a spotlight on a diverse array of entities, including individuals, groups, media outlets, businesses, non-profit organizations, community connections, and public sectors, all of whom contribute to nurturing and promoting the Canadians of Indian origin with creative & artistic talents and beyond.
The event promises an evening of elegance and sophistication, featuring an exclusive cocktail hour (invitation only) where nominees and awardees can engage in conversations. The event features captivating performances of poetry, music, and dance, culminating in the presentation of awards and more for ticketed audiences.
