About this Event
Acoustic guitars, Everly Brothers-style close harmony. Rob Newhouse has played in many bands, including Chicago roots-pop favorite the Elvis Brothers, and continues to play with the wonderful Charming Axe, Laura Doherty, and others. Rob began teaching at Chicago’s famous Old Town School of Folk Music in 1998.
Rachel Drew grew up in a musical household in Chicago. She burst onto the Chicago music scene in 2015, having already written hundreds of songs, and has quickly become a local favorite. You can find her performing all over town with her originals band, playing as a duo, or singing with bands like Peter Joly Group and The Imperial Sound (with members of Expo 76 and the New Duncan Imperials).

Colvin House cannot provide parking onsite for this event. The first 20 cars can park free at George B. Swift Elementary school, just a block west of Colvin House. Please pull up to Colvin House's driveway gate (Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit which will provide further instruction.
For $12-$14, valet parking is also available at the Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.
We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
