Join our weaving workshops as a part of the Conscious Living Project at ELREC! Huge thank you to our funders Leith Chooses 2024 for making this happen and all the Leith community for your support!
We are delighted to invite you to our weaving workshops! You will learn basic weaving skills and create your own tapestry from responsibly sourced materials while enjoying relaxed atmosphere and a cup of tea. Come to relax, meet new people and work with your creativity!
What you need to bring:
- If you boked as 'I don't have my loom' just bring yourself as all materials are provided. If you have any specific fabrics or yarns that you would like to bring then you are welcome to!
- If you booked as 'I will bring my own loom' please bring your loom and all other fabrics are provided.
Research project
All the participants will be sent a 'before' and 'after' wellbeing survey to check the workshop's impact on people's wellbeing and mental health. I would be grateful for your support and help in that as all the surveys and all feedback is crucial for development of the project and further funding applications to continue the project activities. Thank you!
