The May 15 Coffeehouse At All Saints includes a fine variety of musical styles and spoken word. From Chicago we have Moe Gavin, a regular in the Chicago-area "Storytelling" scene. Separately, her talented husband Tom will be playing saxophone accompanied by Katie Burk. Wanda Degen is a Michigan treasure using musical history and more performing on mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer and autoharp. She'll be accompanied by Pooh Stevenson who will have her own set on cello. Cheryl Caesar, MSU professor from the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures will read. Ben Hassenger is back with more from his songwriting workshop. Singer-songwriters Leif Alton and Lyn Sawicki return with a set each. Finally, yours truly will do a couple numbers from Texas, inspired by his February trip there. Please join us. The evening is free, beverages and snacks to share are encouraged. Come and go as you please. See you there! (Want to perform sometime? Just tell Steve!)
