In her current role at Universities Human Resources, Emma is leveraging her 17 years’ experience in Further and Higher Education to support the thousands of people professionals in the HE sector; enabling and empowering excellent people management. Emma has been involved with the CIPD Branch in Manchester for over 8 years, advancing to the roles of Policy Lead and Vice-Chair five years ago. Emma is a true believer in the power of HR & OD practitioners to shape business and improve working lives; as such she remains an active organiser for the CIPD Northern Policy Forum.
