My special guest this month is the delightfully engaging Neville Quinlan, the songwriter and voice behind twice Juno-nommed Six Shooter recordings artists NQ Arbuckle. A fixture of Toronto’s roots scene, Neville pairs weathered, heart-on-sleeve storytelling with sly, good-humoured asides and choruses that stick with you long after last call, delivered in that unmistakable, gravel-and-honey voice. From quiet gut-punch ballads to foot-tapping barroom epics, Neville’s sets feel like being let in on the best stories at the end of the night. Doors open at 7pm and the open stage will begin at 7.30 so sign up to perform before then. Neville will play at around 9pm.
The Catweazle Club takes place at The Real Estate Shop at 1033 College Street. It's at the corner of College St. and Rusholme Park Crescent.
