EMC plus The Cathode Ray will be playing at Traverse Theatre bar, Edinburgh. Friday 30 January 2026. Doors open 7.30pm.
The Cathode Ray are an alternative rock band from Edinburgh. Formed in 2006, with four albums to date, the latest of which, “Advance Retreat”, reached the Scottish Albums Chart Top 20 in October 2024.
Their most recent release is the single “Forever Etched” (August 2025).
Supporting them will be Electrical Melting Company, an Edinburgh band, playing original new music from their forthcoming album, due for release in 2026, in the jingle jangle style of the great Beatles, Byrds, Kinks & Velvets.
