We are excited for you to join us for a very special Audio.sync Experience on Thursday 25th April as we present 'The Calico Story' live at the Love Shack, Cambridge Heath - taking you through a journey of the heart as we welcome the talented duo of singer-songwriters; Chanel & Theo, together with their 7 piece band for an unforgettable soulful enriching experience.
Calico´'s sensual and soulful Indie Folk creates an expansive atmosphere of tenderness, vulnerability and authenticity through their evocative melodies, heartfelt storytelling; with subtle compositions riddled with a softness that resonates deeply with the core of the listerner's being - bringing you along a journey of emotional self-exploration and discovery.
The night also features the extraordinary musical talents of Shivani Sen, a Hindustani Classical vocalist with over 20 years of training. As well as being a published author, Shivani blends her poetry & Hindustani classical heritage with the cosmopolitan & diverse tonalities of the London music scene; and together with Mo Reshad (Guitar & Oud) and Vishnu (Tabla) - will be gracing the audience with a rich canvas of sounds for a truly unique and captivating musical voyage across cultures.
Supporting Calico on the nigth with poetic nourishment for our souls, hearts and minds is Yebbz Ashanti - who illustrates stories to keep his mind at ease.
Opening the space on the day is Joe Dalziel of Sound Travels, who will be initiating the enchantments of the night with a blissful and magical Sound Bath Experience with an array of instruments from around the world - evoking healing, spiritual cleansing and nourishment for the senses.
