About this Event
The Bukharian Jewish Experience: A Journey of Storytelling, Heritage and Traditional Flavors.
What: The Breman welcomes Liat Tzionov, a traditional cook and storyteller. Liat’s work is rooted in memory. For her, food is how stories are passed down, how traditions are kept, and how identity is preserved. She will offer an immersive journey into the world of Bukharian Jews - one of the oldest and most distinctive Jewish communities. Through storytelling, historical context, and elements that engage all five senses, Liat will guide participants in an exploration of the legacy of the Silk Road, the traditions that shaped Bukharian Jewish life, and the continuity of this heritage today.
