About this Event
Purpose
The purpose of this interactive workshop is to engage residents in developing a community-driven framework for improving transparency, accountability, and public participation in Tallahassee’s decision-making process.
Participants will help shape recommendations for an Inclusive People-Centered Government Policy that ensures residents have meaningful opportunities to provide input before major city decisions are finalized.
Policy Workshop Objectives:
- Learn how decisions currently move through the City Commission process.
- Identify barriers to public participation.
- Discuss opportunities for greater community involvement.
- Develop recommendations to improve transparency in decision-making.
- Build a citizen-centered policy framework.
