Description:
The Bridge brings together BIPOC thinkers from dance and architecture for an evening of interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange. Through a lecture and panel discussion, this event explores the intersections of movement, space, and healing, fostering deeper connections between the arts and built environments.
The evening features the lecture Spaces That Move Us: Dance, Architecture, and the Art of Healing and a moderated panel discussion led by Genevieve Hyacinthe—a scholar, performer, and author whose work bridges modern and contemporary art, West African dance traditions, and the global Black experience.
Panelists include:
Shalini Agrawal: Architect, designer, educator, and social equity advocate. Shalini’s work highlights the historical legacies of colonization in architecture and explores pathways toward spatial justice and equity.
