About this Event
This one-day Breakthrough Process Workshop is for a maximum of 8 people who are looking for a breakthrough on a work / life / relationship challenge. Some examples might be a career change, a difficult professional or personal relationship, or a persistent behavioural pattern that prevents forward momentum.
Facilitated by The Breakthrough Process' multidisciplinary team of experts in psychotherapy, coaching and creative techniques, the programme will help you to:
• Define your current challenge
• Identify the unconscious forces that are preventing progress
• Develop and plot a meaningful plan for next steps
What to expect
Often, when we’re trying to overcome a challenge, we try to tackle it with the solution-focussed part of our minds. That’s an excellent tool for many tasks, but when it can’t find meaningful answers it tends to ramp up the anxiety and prevent us from seeing the bigger picture more clearly. Without seeing this, we can get trapped looking for a solution that can’t be found.
Based in the peaceful urban oasis of St Ethelburga's Centre in Bishopsgate, we will help you step out of the ordinary into a new way of thinking with our signature Breakthrough Process - facilitated group work that fuses together discussion and creative techniques into a powerful engine for positive change.
Working as a group, we take you on a deep-level journey into your challenge, help you identify some of the forces that underpin it, and support you to develop a solution-focussed plan for next steps.
By the end of the workshop you will have developed:
• A better understanding of the forces that underpin your challenge
• Greater insight into how you function in the world
• Deeper awareness of the forces that drive your interactions with others
• A practical plan for working on your challenge
Please note: The one-day Breakthrough Process Workshop on Saturday 25th January 2025 is being offered to participants with an option to take up a special discounted ticket price of £55. This is offered in exchange for detailed feedback of participant experience on the programme. An online survey will be sent post-session for you to complete.
More about The Breakthrough Process and our facilitators:
In 2018, psychotherapist and leadership coach Dr Tom Cotton founded The Breakthrough Process to help individuals and leaders develop greater clarity on the unconscious forces that shape work and life in our fast-changing world..
The Breakthrough Process team comprises specialists in psychotherapy and coaching, leadership, entrepreneurship and business. Collectively, we have guided clients through life, work and relationship challenges, run successful businesses, and led change at the highest level of global organisations. This combined knowledge allows us to lead deep work safely, and helps you translate your breakthrough into an actionable plan.
Our tried and tested Breakthrough Process dives deep into the rational, emotional, and unconscious dimensions of your challenge, by combining four core elements:
- Group discussion
- Inner work
- Creative techniques
- Coaching
Combined, and facilitated with psychological rigour, these elements act as a force multiplier to provide rapid clarity on hidden obstacles and a realistic path forward in a compressed timeframe.
The Breakthrough Programme One-Day Workshop provides a comprehensive grounding for participants who would like to join our four-day intensive Breakthrough Programme in France, where we provide the structure and facilitation for participants to arrive with a challenge, experience breakthrough, and leave with a plan for meaningful change.
