Welcome to THE BLAQOUT – a celebration of Black queer joy, culture, community, and connection.

Join us for an unforgettable experience filled with great food, good music, drinks, and positive energy. Whether you're coming with friends, meeting new people, celebrate Pride, or simply enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, this event is all about creating space for people to come together, be themselves, and have a good time.

While THE BLAQOUT centers and celebrates the Black queer community, all allies and supporters are welcome. We believe in creating an environment where everyone can feel respected, included, and free to enjoy the experience.

Come eat, vibe, laugh, dance, connect, and celebrate with us as we honor community, authenticity, and the power of being unapologetically yourself.

Age Restriction: The Blaqout is open to individuals aged 21 and above. Valid photo identification showing proof of age may be required for entry.
Respect and Inclusivity: We celebrate diversity and expect all attendees to respect each other's identities, backgrounds, and personal boundaries. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of hate speech will not be tolerated.
Dress Code: While there is no strict dress code, we encourage attendees to express themselves authentically and respectfully. However, attire that is overly revealing, offensive, or promotes hate speech is not permitted. Outside casual is encouraged, please dress for the weather.
Alcohol and Substance Use: Consumption of alcohol is allowed for individuals aged 21 and above. We promote responsible drinking and reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated individuals. The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the premises and possible legal action.
Security Checks: For the safety of all attendees, security checks may be conducted at the entrance. Bags and personal belongings are subject to inspection. Any prohibited items, including weapons, illegal substances, or items that may disrupt the event, will be confiscated.
Photography and Videography: Attendees are welcome to capture memories of the event through photography and videography for personal use. However, commercial or promotional photography/videography requires prior authorization from event organizers. Please be mindful of others' privacy and ask for consent before taking their photos or videos.
Smoking Policy: Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping devices, is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue.
Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of event staff and security personnel. Emergency exits are clearly marked throughout the venue. Familiarize yourself with the nearest exits and evacuation routes.
Lost and Found: Lost items should be reported to event staff immediately. A designated Lost and Found area will be available for retrieval of lost items during and after the event. The Blaqout & The Mesa SD staff is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings
Right to Refusal: Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any individual who violates event rules, behaves disruptively, or poses a threat to the safety and well-being of others.

You release The Blaqout San Diego and its partners and each and all persons involed from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication of photographs, video, interviews and/or sound recordings. Purchasing tickets to this event may also opt you in for event updates and/or future Blaqout San Diego announcements via text message or email. You can opt-out at any time by replying "STOP" to any of our messages.
ZERO TOLERANCE: Be kind to the staff and those around you, if you see any instances of ill behavior by a guest please report it to staff or security on site immediately.
Ticket Information: Tickets are available online. Ticket sales will also be available at the door but will priced higher than the online sale at $15 per person. No Refunds. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
