About this Event
Let’s Talk About Loss is proud to present the Big North East Grief Meet Up in Newcastle, funded by The National Lottery. If you’re aged 18-35 and have been bereaved, this is THE event to come to and meet other young grievers.
What is the event?
The day is a great opportunity to make friends with fellow young grievers, hear from inspiring speakers and take part in creative workshops and well-being activities.
What is the plan for the day?
We are currently booking in amazing speakers and workshop facilitators, and will keep adding to this line up. So far you can look forward to:
- A panel of inspiring creatives from Newcastle, followed by a workshop so you can unleash your own creativity.
- A sound bath with James Powles from Circle of Light Holistics
- Lots of time to get to know other young grievers based in and around Newcastle
Where is it?
We're meeting at Gosforth Civic Theatre, a wonderful venue in Gosforth that is really easy to get to. It's completely wheelchair accessible throughout but if you'd like to ask us any questions about accessibility, please do get in touch, we'd be happy to chat. The address is: Gosforth Civic Theatre, Regent Farm Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 3HD
How much does the ticket cost?
The tickets are completely free!
We are able to cover travel expenses for the event as we would love to make it as accessible for everyone as possible. We will need you to send us a copy of your receipts and depending on the total cost of everyone’s travel, we will be able to allocate grants.
Are food and refreshments provided?
YES! There will be tea, coffee, water, lunch and snacks provided free of charge. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking your ticket.
