William Shield Festival 2024 - Flutes, recorder and folk fiddle

Mary Tyers (flutes, recorders and voice) with Stuart Hardy (folk fiddles).

This vibrant and varied programme of largely folk music will captivate the audience. Mary and Stuart are making their first appearance at the festival. Much of the programme has a distinctly north-eastern flavour, including a William Shield set as well as tunes and songs with which Shield would have been familiar.
