About this Event

Introducing… Saltire Sky’s Big Blether!

Across one incredible evening, Saltire Sky Theatre will present four original scratch performances from emerging writers, each exploring the theme of Community through fresh, daring, and distinctive perspectives.

Big Blether is a fundraising event that throws open the doors to the creative process, inviting audiences not only to experience exciting new theatre, but to step inside the journey of how new work is shaped, challenged, and brought to life.

Following each piece, audiences will witness live discussion and insight from a panel of special guests packed with experience from across the theatre industry. These accomplished creatives will offer thoughtful feedback, professional perspective, and meaningful encouragement to the writers, giving audiences a front row seat to the conversations that help transform scripts into something greater.

Funny, powerful, thought provoking, heartfelt, unexpected. Big Blether is a celebration of new voices and imaginative storytelling, offering audiences the rare chance to experience brand new work at its earliest and most electric stage.

At Saltire Sky Theatre, we are passionate about creating space for emerging talent, championing bold storytelling, and building meaningful creative community. Big Blether is a night designed to entertain, inspire, and connect, while raising vital support for our upcoming August production of 'MANikin' :
