When a child with autism is missing, response priorities shift, and water risk must be considered immediately.
Practical response considerations for public safety and child welfare professionals, including what changes in the first hour, why water sources must be prioritized, and what current data reveals about continuing risk trends.
A 12-minute microlearning course, "Search Water First: Autism and Drowning", will be highlighted. Connect and designed for roll-call and in-service use.
