Leeds Project Big Band is turning 7 — and you’re invited to the party!
To celebrate they’ll be showcasing all of their favourite tunes, from Stevie Wonder, to Shania Twain, to big band classics from Glen Miller and beyond.

The Big Band was started by an NHS shift worker, to encourage non-professional musicians to dust the cobwebs off their instruments and join a band with no commitment or pressure, just fun! 7 years on, they regularly have more than 30 members join rehearsals every week. They want to celebrate the community that they’ve built over the years, by performing their favourite tunes! Expect, jazz, funk, soul and pop classics! There will be party hats, bangers, and good vibes- everyone welcome!You can’t have a party without DJ, so our good friend Fontrodona will be joining us to keep the party going. Resident at odd-ball fun-forward party "Jute City Jam" in Dundee and beyond, Fontrodona embodies music for the soul to soundtrack the in-betweens and ends of the evening.
