About this Event
The Art Of Liberación is a celebration of Black & Dominican culture, history, and justice-minded creativity. The work of Jerry Rodriguez (IG: JerryRodriguez.Art), a Tampa-based Dominican-American artist, will be featured in the gallery. There will also be a performance by Micah Bournes (IG: @MicahBournes) , a Black American musician and poet from Long Beach, CA . Both artists will tell stories about their process and how they weave the work of justice and liberación into their practice. The artists' performacnes will be followed by a Q&A, and plenty of time to enjoy the gallery, connect with other creatives, and purchase paintings and books of poetry.
