It is a long way from Iraq to The Mariners’ Museum. Join us for a candid conversation with Howard H. Hoege III on the reality of executive transition.
Howard’s journey is not a straight line. He served as an Infantry Officer with the 1st Cavalry Division, a JAG Officer with the 101st Airborne, an Investigative Counsel for the Senate Armed Services Committee, and an Assistant Dean at UVA. Today, he leads one of the largest maritime museums in the world. Howard will discuss the "universal translator" of servant leadership: the culture shock of moving from the battlefield to the boardroom, but how servant leadership principles from military service can translate to successfully leading organizations in multiple civilian sectors.
