The art of Lacemaking is an ancient craft and differs from region to region, both nationally and internationally. We are delighted therefore to welcome local artist and crafter, Marina Postir, to Nenagh library on Tuesday, 19th August at 6.30pm, to discuss this delicate craft. A skilled lacemaker herself, Marina will talk about the history of lacemaking and demonstrate how it is done, showcasing pieces from Limerick, Headford, Borris, Carrickmacross and crochet lace.No Booking Required All Welcome
